The League of Women Voters is a grassroots organization where individuals like you actively engage in creating positive change on the local, state, and national levels. As a member you will help to shape the important issues that keep our communities strong. Each month you will receive the Seattle Voter, our newsletter that keeps you up-to-date with League action and activities. You might be interested in attending a monthly discussion group, or join a committee that focuses on a particular topic. Click here for information on our multiple membership levels.

Join a Committee
If you have an active interest in a particular issue, you might decide to volunteer on a committee. Committee members attend community meetings and review proposed legislation that may impact their respective committee assignments. In addition, committees are formed to conduct comprehensive studies of issues selected at the Annual Meeting in the spring.
